Rob Dixon Trio
Rob Dixon has long been considered the “Musical Mayor” of Indianapolis — a title earned through decades of collaboration, mentorship, and unforgettable performances across countless ensembles and stages. While he performs with an extraordinary range of musicians and projects throughout the country, he’ll be bringing an intimate trio configuration for this special house concert, showcasing the soulful saxophone playing and deep musical connection that have made him one of the Midwest’s most respected jazz artists. A member of the Indianapolis Jazz Hall of Fame, Artistic Director of Indy Jazz Fest, and faculty member in Jazz Studies at Northwestern Bienen School of Music, Rob’s performances blend world-class artistry with warmth, spontaneity, and genuine connection.
