A great night of live music
A big thank you to everyone who came out for the Nick Dittmeier Duo house concert at Clear Vibes House Concerts. It was a great evening of live, local music and community. This is the second time he has played at the house, with the first time being in 2022 with the full band, Nick Dittmeier & the Sawdusters.
Nick and his bass player brought a duo set that fit the house concert environment perfectly. The room stayed locked in from start to finish as they moved through songs filled with honest writing, humor, and stories from the road. There’s something special about hearing music in a setting like this where every lyric and interaction can really be felt.
New music from Apparition
It was especially fun getting to hear songs from Nick’s new album, Apparition, before Nick Dittmeier & The Sawdusters head overseas for the Apparition World Tour. A few of the newer songs, including “All Downhill From Here” and “Hurt You,” were the kind of tunes that stick in your head long after the concert ends.
Guests also enjoyed checking out the merch table after the performance. Nick had some really cool shirts available along with his albums, including copies of the new Apparition release. He even had a t-shirt design that included his middle school mascot, a little devil. One of the things that stands out about house concerts is how much people connect with the music in the room—so it’s always great to see guests leave wanting to spend more time with the songs afterward. Supporting artists through merch sales is an important part of helping independent touring musicians keep doing what they do.
